Lovely place for a wander round on a nice day. Eateries are best booked in advance as they get very busy. The Barn serve lovely food. Service very good.

A lovely place to wonder around. Main attraction for me being the South African shop/restaurant. And the Woodlands was a treat

What a fabulous little shopping village, hidden away you wouldn't know it was there unless someone told you!
Lots of cafes and delightful shops and cafes. Clean toilets and a pleasant environment to sit and chill!
Lots of car parking available, and a lovely little walk through the woods to see the pigs and the fairies!

Arrived a bit too early, not realising the shops open at 10:00. Despite that we waited and spent a pleasant hour and half over breakfast and generally looking around. Some really nice and interesting shops in a very nice setting.

Used to work in the hairdressers here. Great little shopping village and some lovely food outlets. Has changed a lot over the last 2 years I haven’t been there but still has your favourite places.

Lovely meal at the barn. Lovely outside seating, several eateries. Good service, little slow but worth the wait

Well, I’ve never been here before and what a little gem! Free car parking and although it was busy I had no difficulty finding a space. A small wood for a wander around, nice if you have small children with you. Converted outbuildings have a surprising number of little shops and cafés with a beautifully planted area between them with outdoor seating. Altogether great for a wander round, bit of speciality shopping and a bite to eat. Oh yes, and resident pig foraging about the wood…

We went to visit just after Christmas, unfortunately a lot of the shops were closed. But the fairy trail walk was open, and it was such a fun trail, it wasn’t really muddy either and it’s quite big and lots to see. Some parts of the trail did feel a bit tacky with the Barbie Fairies and a bit strange to see the McDonald’s toys and dummy plastic tree. It was good message to send, but I also felt putting plastic on the tree was contradicting.
The pigs were out, busy splashing in the mud, so a bonus to see the animals too.
The shopping area was quite big, lots of shops, toilet facilities and small businesses.
Overall it was really nice to visit and I can imagine once lockdown is lifted, it’s a nice day out to go for a walk, see the pigs and get lunch too.
The day out is free and there is also free parking too, so I would definitely recommend going for a family day out.

A lovely little find. The Heart of the Country is a pretty village filled with quaint little shops and cafes.
I went for a special occasion and found it to be an enjoyable birthday afternoon treat.
