Don is next level vet HE CARES bout the pets 1st then money not like 99% of vets nowadays all about the money then the pets

Only been here for a few months and all I can say is this Vet knows his stuff , after having bad experience else where I was recommended to use Don his not your normal talk down to you vet his friendly an very knowledgeable in all breeds , one thing that stood out was that he used to work with Tom Bingham which was definitely a big ✔️ from me . Prices are reasonable but most of all he cares for your pet an you. Highly recommended

Don is very experienced, will explain the problem with you, we have been for operations and general treatment. He is highly competent with high drive working dogs that other vets may struggle with. Highly recommended.

Fantastic practice with honesty, support and guidance at its heart. I had need to call Don at short notice about a poorly chicken and he was incredibly helpful to our needs, fitting us in at very short notice. He dealt with our terminally ill bird with great respect, explained everything clearly and was entirely human throughout. Such a genuine person. The experience was far better than any received at more well known, chain based practices and I'll be taking my business to Swinfen from now on. If you're after friendly, helpful, polite and wonderful people to help with your animals in the Lichfield area, Swinfen has to be the place.

3 weeks ago I took my dog to be spayed at Swinfen Vets after my friend recommended Don to me. I was very apprehensive taking my dog to have surgery with a vet I’d never met, however I am so glad I did - the service was 5 star. I was extremely nervous upon arrival, Don and his receptionist put me at ease straight away and made the process much less stressful for me and my anxious dog. I collected her early evening, she was walking around and only had 1 dissolvable stitch which was amazing - Don was available on the other end of the phone for me to ask any questions and allowed me to WhatsApp him photo’s of her wound throughout the recovery (as well as her face to face check ups) which was fantastic - not like her registered vets where you’d have to book an appt to have any contact / ask any questions. Overall, an extremely trustworthy vet and lovely staff members! Thank you for your amazing service and generosity

A bit disappointed in this place. Turned up for an appointment after an hours drive, to find a closed and locked practice. Couldn't get hold of the vet and after ringing the main centre, the vet rang me to let me know he wasn't coming to the appointment (isolating due to covid). He was very apologetic but just wish I had been informed in the morning instead of driving down in the middle of the day - 3 hours out of my day for a wasted journey

Needed to visit tonight for my pup, short notice just as they was meant to close but they was so welcoming! Did everything needed there and then sending me away with a happy pup again. Been with them for the last 8 months and have always been the same, fab service. Thank you so much

Tried this vets for the first time last week and all i can say is " wow" . I have not been happy with my usual veterinary surgery so i decided to give Swinfen a try for a 2nd opinion and they didnt disappoint. My dog has been suffering for a while now with her feet and my usual vets have just been ripping me off doing different things but Swinfen were great and within a few days her feet have cleared up and the vets didnt rip me off. Lovely vet , lovely staff , will definitely be using them from now on. A+++++

My poor dog Spike had turned in eyelids when I first visited Swinfen vets. After my first consultation I decided to go ahead. Don the vet did a fantastic job, after 10 days in the collar of shame spike was as good as new and very happy. I would totally recommend this vet. 5 stars.
