I’ve been here a number of times for some SA goodies and for lunch. Last Sundays visit has completely put us off going again. I ordered the bobotie as the bunny chow had sold out as only 4 are available daily and my sister ordered the last one! It wasn’t bigger than a cigarette box, for £11.50 I expected a little bit more on the plate and to be bit more tasty like back home. The shop had hardly any stock and nothing had prices on. I bought some fizzers, buttermilk rusks and vetkoek mix. This came to £29.50 no wonder there’s no prices on anything. It’s robbery to be charged this much for 3 items. If they were labelled I wouldn’t have picked any of them up. I’d rather travel to Bristol as the SA shop there is so much better and not so costly. The only good experience was the waitress, she was very welcoming and helpful!

Our first visit, but won't be our last. The food is fantastic. It's so authentic and flavoursome. Just like being back home. Fabulous place and prices, only outshone by the fabulous people.A must for anyone wanting to experience the tastes of Africa.

Fantastic breakfast well worth the money. Little bit of home from home. Everyone friendly. Even all gold tomato sauce available to complement the breakfast. We purchased some boerwors and took it home to braai along with a few other things. I'll definitely visit again,to try the lunch menu. Hopefully owners can add some steaks to the menu. Lambchop with breakfast left us longing for more braai meat

Visited the Heart of the Country site near Lichfield to shop for outdoor clothing. While there on a warm and sunny afternoon used the cafe/restaurant for coffee and a slice of lemon cake. Both items were provided efficiently and cheerfully to the outdoor seating area. Highly recommended.

The best biltong in Britain, it's like eating it back in South Africa again. The shop also sells other South African food and drinks too, such as snacks, sweets, puddings, alcohol, frozen meats etc. I haven't eaten and the BBQ but the smell is always amazing and the menu is vast.

Beautiful set up in secluded area away from most of the shops offering authentic South African street food and pantry products. The Street food is cooked fresh off the braai (bbq) can be purchased on Saturdays and Sundays. Lovely little family shop.
